There are two variations: One made of 75% wool, 25% polyester and the other made of 55% polyester, 45% wool. All were manufactured in East Germany during the 1970s and 1980s. The symbol on the front is the East German Cockade, and the markings on the inside indicate they were worn by the NVA and produced by VEB Perfekt Berlin.
