The hat is supplied Flat sided, Velco is attached to the Bowl and the rim. That the Hat and gently steam, fold the edges to a Tricorn shape. Wait for it to cool before pushing the Velcro together( the steam will soften the Glue that holsds the Velcro) I know this is a lot to do but the result is great.
