A below stairs outfit for a maid, late Victorian/Edwardian in style. It consists of a plain brown cotton, front-buttoning, gown with a white cotton apron. We have used it a few times in our museum films. It is petite in size, has a 32 inch bust and 26 inch waist. It would have been about ankle length to allow for climbing stairs without having to pick up skirts. Waist to hem measures 35 inches.
