Stunning authentic Victorian era men’s (can be unisex) long wool cape/cloak. Warm for colder weather. May have been a carriage driver’s cloak. Lovely Fleur de Lis embossed detail on collar and bottom of cape, hook and eye fasteners. Taffeta lining is very torn, can be removed or relined by a tailor. Circa 1890, not certain. No slits for arms. No visible moth holes but as mentioned, lining very ripped. Wool in amazing condition for age. Approx. 36” long, approx. 18” neck if fastened. Approx. 23” across shoulder flat.
