Up for sale is a handmade late 18thC cotton shirt for use as a pirate, sailor or labourer in. a lovely red check gingham. Made by Elgar Shirts, a small independent Yorkshire company that produce limited edition runs of shirts and trousers from the 18th and 19thC. These were £60 on their website and the gingham material was a limited edition run which doesn't look like it will come back. This has only been worn a handful of times for a few performances so is in excellent condition. It is in quite a small size so do check the measurements of the arms and length of the shirt. The chest is quite large as per the style of the 18th C to have a baggy shirt around the chest for ease of movement when working. From a smoke/pet free home. Thanks!
