1860’s Reproduction Victorian Silk and Cotton Day Dress. Petite.

£156.70

I made this 1860s dress for a student film (I have occasionally mentored and costumed student films), but due to a last minute change of cast it had never been worn. It is front fastening with a side opening skirt placket. The bodice is lined and boned. The silk foresleeves are removable. The cotton fabric is a reproduction museum print dated to between 1855-70. The waistcoat, covered buttons and sleeves are silk. It is edged with narrow red velvet ribbon. It is petite and on a size six mannequin - bust 32in, waist 26in, nape to waist 15in and waist to hem 39in plus 6 inch hem.
