1850-60 Replica Victorian Cotton Day Dress. The dress was made for a tall actor. Bust 36in, waist 29in, nape to waist 16in, waist to hem 44in. It has a vintage collar and buttons, piping at the neck and armhole, fastens at the back with concealed hooks and eyes, the bodice and sleeves are lined in cotton and it has a pocket in the right hand side skirt seam. It can be worn with petticoats, crinoline, and to the end of the 1850s with a cage crinoline. It is a deep indigo blue colour. It has been worn for two photo shoots. Perfect for Brontë era dressing.
